New gravel on the Snug Harbor roads. Finally!

Should we be grateful? Maybe. But let’s be real: this should have been done YEARS ago. It wasn’t because it “couldn’t” happen — it didn’t happen because of gross mismanagement and a bloated payroll that’s been bleeding this community dry.

Let that sink in: Nearly $100,000 in payroll. For what? Endless excuses? Zero transparency? Worn-down roads and a Board of Governors that spends more time protecting their positions than protecting the interests of the people who live here?

Just imagine what could have actually been accomplished in this community with that kind of money — improved infrastructure, enhanced amenities, beautification projects, or simply maintaining basic standards without being decades behind.

But instead, we got empty promises and padded checks.

So sure, pat yourselves on the back for the gravel — but let’s not pretend it’s some victory. It’s a long-overdue Band-Aid on a wound that’s been festering under the weight of arrogance, waste, and backroom decisions.

The property owners deserve better.
