The Snug Harbor Property Owner’s Association (SHPOA) monthly meetings are held at 9:00am on every second Saturday of the month and are largely unattended, with only the same few of property owners showing up due to widespread apathy. This lack of participation stems from a history of board deception, lies, and election rigging. As a result, the meetings have become little more than a “rubber stamp” process, where decisions are made behind closed doors, without any meaningful community input or transparency. The trust between the board and property owners has eroded, leaving many feeling powerless and excluded from the decision-making process that directly affects their homes and the community. Going to the meetings is futile, the board, always in defense mode, will not listen to the property owners. Attend if you like, but do not expect much.
